Even though we’re still freezing through the winter, I’m already planning for the summer. A great way to think of the sun and summer fun is with a colada.
Distiller’s Notes:
The CÎROC Summer Colada is a rich tasting spirit made with vodka from French grapes, finished in a tailor-made copper pot still in Southern France.
This vodka is infused with a blend of coconut, pineapple and other natural flavors.

Just passing by to wish you all a happy tequila day and just provide a bit of information about it.
Tequila is made from the blue agave plant and by law must be made in Mexico.
There are 5 types of tequila:
Blanco (white) – clear, unaged tequila that is normally bottled right after it is distilled
Joven (gold) – This is Blanco tequila which has not been left to rest or mature but which colorants and flavorings such as caramel coloring, oak tree extracts glycerin or sugar syrup has been added prior to bottling
Reposado (aged) – This is the first level of aging and it is mandated that the tequila must remain in wood (most common is French oak or white oak) for a period of two months but no longer than 12 months
Añejo (extra aged) – The next level of aging is Añejo which means “vintage”, can only appear on bottles that contain tequila , aged in oak barrels having a minimum capacity of 600 liters, a minimum of one year and less than 3 years
Extra añejo (ultra aged) – This type of tequila has been aged for at least 3 years in direct contact with the wood of oak (holm or holm oak) or Encino oak containers with a maximum capacity of 600 liters.
In Mexico tequila is enjoyed neat and sipped slowly. Others choose take it as shot with salt and lime or enjoy cocktails made with tequila.
I will be indulging on Jose Cuervo Especial Gold tequila. Which ever you type or how you choose to enjoy tequila, please enjoy responsibly and in moderation

Cheers and have a happy tequila day
