This is a first for me, enjoying this wine in an eco-friendly package of light-weight carton mainly made from paper.
Winemakers Notes:
Delicious floral and citrus aromas harmoniously combined with fresh fruits. Crisp, sweet entrance on the mouth and well-balanced with an enjoyable finish.
Food Pairing:
Herbed cheese, creamy pasta and seafood dishes
Cheers and Enjoy Responsibly

Brewer’s Notes:
This Pale Ale is a west coast style pale with a light body and distinct floral hop aroma and flavor. Undertones of a malt sweetness and a balanced hop bitterness makes for a refreshing finish.
Color: Light Copper
IBU’s: 40
Cheers and Enjoy Responsibly

Brewers Notes:
Czechvar lager has a think, rich head and markedly golden yellow colour. The mild hop aroma balances well with the perfectly synchronized sweet-bitter taste. The body is medium to robust, which makes the drinker feel like taking another sip.

Serve Cold and Enjoy Responsibly
One of my top definitions of naked is: devoid of concealment or disguise. That is what this week’s wine embodies. Naked Grape: Pinot Grigio

Winemakers Notes:
A fresh, crisp wine with juicy tropical fruit and citrus flavours.
Food Pairing:
Seafood Salad, Smoked Salmon, Oysters, Pasta with Cream or Mushroom Sauce, Baked White Fish in Butter Sauce, Soft-ripened cheese, Chicken Sandwich, Prawns and Scallops
Cheers and Enjoy Responsibly.

Winemakers Notes:
This classic Meritage is a blend of 68% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Carbernet Franc. This wine has beautiful BlackBerry, cherry, and dark chocolate notes.
Food Pairing:
Beef or pork tenderloin, eggplant parmesan and cheeses like hard gouda and applewood smoked cheddar
Cheers and Enjoy Responsibly

Winemakers Notes
The winemaker explored 19 different blends. This is a smooth, full flavored wine with an abundance of sweet cherry, blueberry and spice notes
Food Pairings:
Grilled steak, roast beef, rack of lamb, lamb shank, osso bucci and sharp cheddar
Cheers and Enjoy responsibly

Happy September! I am glad to be back, sharing wines, beers and spirits with you all.
For the month of August, I did not drink any alcohol so did not try any new drinks that is why I did not post much last month.
Everything I feature on this blog, I have personally tried and that is why I showcase them.
I am excited for the Fall and Winter seasons and looking forward to all that is to come.
Be on the look our for the first blog for the month of September.
Cheers and Enjoy Responsibly!

Just passing by to wish you all a happy tequila day and just provide a bit of information about it.
Tequila is made from the blue agave plant and by law must be made in Mexico.
There are 5 types of tequila:
Blanco (white) – clear, unaged tequila that is normally bottled right after it is distilled
Joven (gold) – This is Blanco tequila which has not been left to rest or mature but which colorants and flavorings such as caramel coloring, oak tree extracts glycerin or sugar syrup has been added prior to bottling
Reposado (aged) – This is the first level of aging and it is mandated that the tequila must remain in wood (most common is French oak or white oak) for a period of two months but no longer than 12 months
Añejo (extra aged) – The next level of aging is Añejo which means “vintage”, can only appear on bottles that contain tequila , aged in oak barrels having a minimum capacity of 600 liters, a minimum of one year and less than 3 years
Extra añejo (ultra aged) – This type of tequila has been aged for at least 3 years in direct contact with the wood of oak (holm or holm oak) or Encino oak containers with a maximum capacity of 600 liters.
In Mexico tequila is enjoyed neat and sipped slowly. Others choose take it as shot with salt and lime or enjoy cocktails made with tequila.
I will be indulging on Jose Cuervo Especial Gold tequila. Which ever you type or how you choose to enjoy tequila, please enjoy responsibly and in moderation

Cheers and have a happy tequila day
