This Pale Ale is a west coast style pale with a light body and distinct floral hop aroma and flavor. Undertones of a malt sweetness and a balanced hop bitterness makes for a refreshing finish.

Brewers Notes:

Czechvar lager has a think, rich head and markedly golden yellow colour. The mild hop aroma balances well with the perfectly synchronized sweet-bitter taste. The body is medium to robust, which makes the drinker feel like taking another sip.

Buronga Hill Estate: Shiraz

This is the first Australian wine I am featuring on the blog so I wanted to share some fun wine facts about Australia, before getting to this week’s feature.

  1. Australia produces more than 1 billion liters of wine each year.
  2. Although a wine leader, Australia cannot grow certain sorts of grapes, such as: Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon. These are imported.
  3. The first wine production in Australia was in 1788.

This classic Australian Shiraz is bursting with spicy plum, cherry ad blackberry jam fruit flavours and complementedby fine grained tannins with sublt hinys of cedar and leather from oak aging.
